Football fans will have the opportunity to exhibit their football skills when the Buncombe County Parks & Recreation host an NFL Pepsi Punt, Pass & Kick Competition.
The competition if free and open to boys and girls ages 8-15. (Age classification is as of December 31 of the current year) The location will be Enka Middle School on Saturday September 13, 10am-12pm Please bring birth certificate to verify age and tennis shoes with rubber soles no cleats. The NFL Pepsi Punt, Pass & Kick Football Competition allows youngsters to showcase their talents in Punting, Passing & Kicking with scores based on distance and accuracy. The top finishers from each of eight age groups at the local competition will advance to a sectional competition. The winners at the sectional competition will have their scores compared with other sectional champions. The top five scores from the pool of the sectional champions advance to team championships located at the 32 NFL home stadiums.
