Ladies Night Out is a part of the Buncombe County Breast and Cervical Cancer Control Program (BCCCP). Offered every month, the program provides FREE physicals, mammograms and health education to help qualifying women live a healthy life. You may also be eligible for a free breast exam, mammogram, pap test and heart health services.Ladies Night Out is primarily for women between the ages of 40 and 64 years who do not have insurance or whose insurance coverage is limited. Income guidelines for Ladies Night Out are very generous, so it’s important for women to see if they qualify. Women under 40 may also qualify, call 250-6006 for details. Women who attend a Night Out will receive a:
* Breast exam They also receive individualized information about healthy eating habits and exercise. Participants are given a booklet filled with information about living a healthy life, performing self breast exam and kicking the smoking habit. Ladies Night Out also provides free transportation and free childcare if needed. No woman in Buncombe County should have to skip a yearly physical because of lack of insurance.
