Wilson College Ultimate Team Western North Carolina Sierra Club has monthly meetings offering educational speakers. They also have planned some awesome hikes in our beautiful mountains. WNC Nature Center was voted "best place to take kids" in Western North Carolina; however, old and young alike will enjoy observing the butterfly garden, encountering the red wolf, mountain lions and bobcats, petting the farm animals, and exploring the interactive Nature Lab. WNC Racing Pigeon Club meets monthly and has two pigeon racing seasons each year.
