LYLAS
LYLAS, Asheville's first all-female sketch comedy troupe. Written, directed, and performed by women, but performed for all genders without any pesky political or social messages, LYLAS is just plain funny. lylashaha@gmail.com

Asheville Chapter of the Barbershop Harmony Society
Our performances include hilarious segues characterized by G-rated humor reminiscent of Vaudeville days. Though centered in Asheville, our membership includes men from five western North Carolina counties. We enjoy a variety of vocal music activities throughout the area and take pride in our affiliation with the world's largest singing fraternity—the Barbershop Harmony Society.

Pack Place Education, Arts and Science Center

Asheville Area Arts Council
The Asheville Area Arts Council was founded more than forty years ago as a community arts council serving the needs of Western North Carolina. Asheville Art Museum

Asheville Community Theatre is in their 51st season and offers a number of great productions for our community.

North Carolina Stage Company
Asheville's professional theatre, presents its 2002-2003 season. After this summer's runaway hit HEDWIG AND THE ANGRY INCH, the season includes: A WRINKLE IN TIME (November 16-December 1), HAMLET (March 20-April 5), and MIDWIVES (May 21 - June 1). WC Reid Center
Located in central Asheville, the W.C. Reid Center is the home to a variety of creative cultural art programs for all ages focusing on visual, performing and computer arts. The center features class rooms, a gymnasium and an auditorium with a stage. Contact the Reid Center to reserve the picnic shelter at Walton Street Park.

High Country Art Craft Guild
Promoting art and craft work of WNC artisans, they sponsor craft shows throughout the region several times a year.

The Old Farmer's Ball Dance is held every Thursday evening at Warren Wilson College, so grab your partner and head over for some good music and dancin'.

Pack Place Education, Arts & Science Center is filled with four museums, a museum store, spacious courtyards and a beautiful theater.

Southern Highland Craft Guild
Located on the Blue Ridge Parkway just east of Asheville, the SHCG displays the crafts of artists of the Appalachians.
